This visitor centre situated on the Isle of Bute in Scotland serves Mount
Stuart, the ancestral home of the Marquis of Bute. Commissioned after an
invited competition, Munkenbeck + Marshall's strategy was to follow the line of
an existing stone dyke to enable the building to sit within the landscape
whilst enabling easy access to both levels. |
